EGS SA launches Microsoft Smart Document for RecipeNet and CALCMENU 2004

Smart documents are documents in Microsoft Word 2003 with XML, or workbooks in Microsoft Excel 2003 with XML, that are programmed to know what users need to do with them and give users help along the way. The technology has been used for different purposes to ease work in offices everywhere.
For RecipeNet and CALCMENU 2004, the Smart Document technology is used to choose and access the recipe database without opening, or not even having the recipe management program in your own PC! This is the first time the technology is being fused with recipe management.
Gone are the days when you need to open two separate programs: your MS office program and recipe management program just to make a simple proposal or menu. Now, you can work in MS Word or MS Excel and conveniently access your recipe list from there.
With Smart Document for RecipeNet and Calcmenu, you can search through your recipe list, choose a recipe category, and select recipes, all using the familiar office applications MS Word or MS Excel. It goes without saying that this makes the work faster and manageably simpler.
The Smart Document feature will be compatible with all versions of the EGS RecipeNet and Calcmenu 2004 programs and requires Microsoft Office 2003 PRO.
